Whoop dee doo! Now that the dump is open, we get an 80 cents decrease in our monthly garbage bill starting August 1 which amounts to a whopping $9.60 a year unless you live in some of the rural areas, then it's less. But wait a minute, LRI is going to ask for a 4.6% increase, so don't be too quick to spend that $9.60 savings. I think all of us would give them back that $9.60 and have the $1.50 per month increase that we received when the trash was being longhauled.Check your past bills and see if that amount was ever removed.
